Everything began with a vision planted by God in the hearts of Pastors Julio and Alisa Toro. Before leaving the United States, the Lord had given them a clear instruction: \u201cPreach the gospel, make disciples, and build My church.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

In 2018, after arriving in Medell\u00edn, that word began to take shape. During a pastoral gathering, Pastor Julio Toro deeply sensed the direction of the Holy Spirit asking him, \u201cWhat are you doing here?\u201d and later, as he walked down the streets of the city, \u201cWhat do you see?\u201d As he looked at the faces marked by pain, migration, and hopelessness, he responded, \u201cLord, here I am.\u201d That moment marked the beginning of the mission.<\/span><\/p>

In February of that same year, an intensive season of street evangelism began, lasting 14 months and reaching approximately 1,500 people, most of them migrants. The message of Christ was shared along with food, clothing, and spiritual support, planting hope in the midst of great need.<\/span><\/p>

Later, the mission moved into central areas of the city with a high concentration of vulnerable populations and women in contexts of exploitation and deep vulnerability. For approximately 18 months, consistent evangelism and discipleship efforts were carried out. During the COVID-19 pandemic, pastoral care continued, and more than 500 food packages were distributed over six months to families in need.<\/span><\/p>

Out of this process, Familias de Esperanza (Families of Hope) was born, a program focused on discipling and restoring women, helping them rebuild their identity, strengthen their faith, and find dignified alternatives for provision. Over the course of 16 months, around 250 women heard the gospel, and many began journeys of transformation and family restoration.<\/span><\/p>

God also opened doors for missionary outreach in other regions of the country. Mission trips were carried out to vulnerable communities along Colombia\u2019s coast and later to Choc\u00f3, bringing the gospel to Indigenous populations and hard-to-reach areas.<\/span><\/p>

From this street ministry, in 2022 the desire was born to formally establish a nonprofit organization called Generation Legacy Ministries, with the purpose of rescuing lives, empowering people, and sending disciples.<\/span><\/p>

The mission continues to carry out evangelism, discipleship, food assistance, training, and pastoral care, working alongside city initiatives and local ministries to promote sustainable, Christ-centered transformation.<\/span><\/p>

What began as a simple act of obedience on a street in Medell\u00edn remains alive today as a clear vision: to transform generations through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, provide evangelistic and humanitarian support, and partner with programs and projects that reflect the heart of God.<\/p>
